Teams we are planning on fielding in the 2020 Season

• U6-7 Mixed (Boys & Girls) - not graded
• U8-11 Mixed - graded
• U7, U10 and U11 Girls Only (Sunday Competition) - graded
• U12, U13, U14, U16, U18's Junior Competition - U12's graded higher age groups TBC depending on numbers
• Mens All Age
• Mens Over 45

You will need to get your 2020 voucher before you start the registration process– This will save you $100 per child (if the child is enrolled in full time school up to the age of 18)

Welcome to Soccer Day: U6's and U7's
Sunday 15th March Darnley Oval
U6:9am - 10am  U7:10am - 11am

Coaches and Managers night
Wednesday 18th March 7pm Gordon Golf Club (U12 and above plus all senior teams)
Wednesday 25th March 7pm Gordon Golf Club (U06-U11)

First Games of the Season:
U6-U18 mixed,  MAA's and O45's  - Saturday 4th April
Girls and WAA - Sunday 5th April

Grading
U6 and U7 teams are not graded.  They are placed with friends/class mates.

U12 Grading Evening:
February Tuesday 25th February – Saiala Oval 5.15pm -6.30pm
No grading required for U14's,  U16’s and U18’s – only one team in each of these age groups
When does the season start?  Saturday 4^th April for mixed and Sunday 5^th for Girls and WAA
The last game of the season is gala day on the 22/23^rd August 2020.

Season Dates: Please note - changes this year due to Easter and ANZAC DAY
4-5th April 1st round of the season
April school holidays
11-12th April No Games  - Easter
18th April - middle of school holidays 2nd round of the season - all age groups 

19th April - middle of school holidays - NO girls matches
25th April - ANZAC Day - NO matches miniroos mixed and junior only
26th April - 2nd round of season for Girls

July school holidays
Games are played on the first weekend of the school holidays on the 4/5^th July
No games scheduled on the middle weekend 11/12^th July.
Games are on in the last weekend of the school holidays on 18/19^h July.

This year we also have Gordon Soccer Club caps, and hoodies. They look great and the kids love club merchandise! 
What do the players wear and what do I need to buy?  
-Gordon Soccer Club jersey (provided by the club for the season and given out prior to the start of the season)
-Gordon Soccer Club socks  ($15) -Buy through club
-White soccer shorts  (can buy through club ($20) – but any white shorts are ok)
-Shin pads  
-Soccer boots - no metal studs  

How do I know what team my child is in?
Team announcements stating who your child will playing with and the team name will be available on TeamApp (Download TeamApp and search for Gordon Soccer Club) about 2 weeks prior to the season commencing.
Where will my child play and at what time?
For all information regarding the draw (fixtures) ie. location, time & opponent, please consult our website www.gordonsoccerclub.com.au where the information links will take you to the appropriate information page. Northern Suburbs Football Assoc (NSFA) is the governing association that runs the soccer competition your child is registered to play in, and amongst other things regulates the draw or fixtures. Usually you will know up to 5 weeks in advance about game details, but game changes do occur so please check in every week (Thur/Fri best). 
Your manager will send details of upcoming games but ultimately it is your responsibility to know where and when your child is playing. Your game could be at 9.15am at Darnley Oval one week, 10.00am in Turramurra then next, and then 8.30am at Mt Colah (25min drive) the following – so it is important to keep on top of where and when you are playing.  The first draw will be published approx 1 week prior to competition start date.

When and where will my child train? 
U6-U11
We have a soccer school which is on Tuesday afternoons at Saiala in East Killara run by XLR8  for an hour each age group:

U6-U8 4pm-5pm
U9-U11 5pm-6pm 
All U6-U11 teams will train once a week with their coach or at the Tuesday session - coach to decide.  (the coach will be parent volunteer).  The training options will be decided on by the coach and manager.
Junior Competition Training Times (Saiala Oval) U12-U18
U12 Tuesday 6.15pm-7.30pm
U13 and U14 Wednesday 5pm-6.15pm
U16 and U18 Wednesday 6.15pm-7.30pm
